Applied Acumen enjoy a good relationship with Widnes Vikings and are glad to continue it by sponsoring Stand Off Anthony Thackeray for the 2010 season. A long time Widnes fan, Keith Armstrong, says “Rugby League is a real family sport and Widnes are a fine example of how a club should interact with the local community. There has always been a real determination about Widnes and that has got them through many challenges on and off the field, there are many in business who could learn a thing or two from them.
Anthony is a great player already and he is still young. The fans really respect him, which says a lot as Widnes have had some of the best Stand Offs in the game play for them in the past, especially Tony Myler. I wish Anthony and everyone at Widnes all the best for the new season.”
